On December 18, 2008, Companions and Sir Knights assembled at Matinicock Lodge, No. 806, F. & A. M., of Oyster Bay for the Order of Knights Templar. Congratulations to Companions (RW DGM) Vincent Libone, Steve Lovasz and Ken Arrango of Harry S Truman Lodge No.1066, on being Knighted.

Each year Brothers of Harry S Truman Lodge 1066 and Members of the Electrical Square Club No. 420, attend to the placing of the Lights of Love at Ronald McDonald House, LIJ.

This year we were assisted by the young men of Charminade High School and the young ladies of Triangle Girls No. 146.

Let us not forget the sons, daughters and friends of our members also in attendance!

On Sat Aug 16, 2008 our Treasurer R∴W∴Michael A. Hyman forever laid down the working tools of life.

R∴W∴Hyman was a long term Officer of Harry S Truman Lodge No. 1066. His roots in our lodge began many years ago and continued through the many mergers that have occurred in the 8th Manhattan.

His strength and knowledge in the Craft translated to the Lodge, making it easy for new Masters, Committee Chairman and the Brethren to perform their duties.

His presence in the Lodge will be truly missed by all!
