From the East:

First and foremost I would like to again offer my congratulations to Brothers John Celentano, Phillip Cruz, Christian Donato, Theodore Kateris and Eric Magnuson - Our newest Master Masons. It was a nicely done Degree, and my thanks to all the Brothers who participated including our very own AGL V.'.W.'.Michael Siegel, and our District Deputy R.'.W.'.John Walker Robinson.

Congratulations also to the Harry S Truman Lodge Mason of the Year for 2011: Brother Aaron Tennenbaum. Brother Aaron will receive his award in-Lodge on Thursday April 7th.

At our meeting on February 3rd there will be no pre-meeting dinner, and the Lodge will open promptly at 6:30. At 7:30 we will be hosting a Public Meeting called "Alchemy Eve" - An evening of camaraderie and esoteric education with our fraternal cousins in the Rosicrucian Order. This event is open to all men and women who wish to attend.

The program designed by Bangaly Kourouma (Master of H. Spencer Lewis Proanos) and myself, promises to be fun, informative and interactive. If you are a Brother of Harry S Truman Lodge, a Brother of the Fraternity, a Sister of the Eastern Star, or you know someone who would be interested in attending the first-ever event of this kind, please feel free to join us. There will be a collation following the program.

At our meeting on February 17th, we will have a pre-meeting Dutch-treat dinner at the Outback Steakhouse at 6pm. The Lodge will open at 7:30 when we will be hosting "Share the Light Night" with our Brothers from Humanitas Lodge.

Additionally, Brother Len Gottlieb will be presenting the 3rd Degree Historical Lecture, and Brothers Carl Lentoni and Mike Iuzzolino will be presenting the 3rd Degree Q & As. Our newly raised Master Masons are advised to attend.

Brother Joe Pugliese died suddenly in his sleep at the age of 59. The funeral was in Florida on Thursday 10/28. The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Harry S Truman Foundation and ear marked for the
NY Masonic Safety ID program.
