Brethren,

Whoever said Budget Meetings are all boring was completely wrong!

R:. W:. Marty Dashevsky conducted the budget meeting, after which he gave a presentation about "The Morgan Affair". Brother Patrick Bahnken then gave a presentation about Masonic Passports, and traveling as a Mason. My thanks to both Brothers for their great presentations! My thanks also to the Brothers of our Lodge, and visiting Brothers from Israel and Virginia, both of whom expressed interest in affiliating with our Lodge, and for their questions and additional information. It was a fun and educational evening for all.

Our next meeting will be the Degree of Entered Apprentice. It will also be our last meeting before the summer break. We will be obligating eight (8) prospective members! Therefore I will ask that all Brothers of Harry S Truman Lodge do your best to be in attendance. We will need many conductors, and our new Brethren will benefit greatly from a full Lodge room on the night of their initiation.

Before the meeting, we will be upstairs at Limerick for a Dutch-treat dinner at 6:00. All are invited to attend. Candidates will be prepared at 7pm, and the Lodge will open promptly at 7:30.

Have a wonderful summer Brothers! See you all at our next meeting on June 17th and at the picnic on August 14th.

First Impressions are Lasting Impressions!

At this meeting we will be conferring the Degree of Entered Apprentice on EIGHT qualified candidates. How wonderful it would be if these brothers are brought to "light" in a full Lodge room. We will also need lots of conductors as well. This is our last meeting before the summer break so come on down, break bread with your brothers and help impress our new brothers to be with the camaraderie that the Lodge always enjoyed. I would also remind the sponsors of these candidates that the candidates should be invited to join with us at the Limerick House for a Dutch Treat dinner. Just be sure to notify our JW Leonard Gottlieb at LGottlieb@lcor-ny.com to make your reservation.

Speaking of Tony as Webmaster, now that he is the GDC of the Nassau County I'm sure he could use some help in maintaining the web site. As you know with web sites they are a work in progress. so if you have any expertise in maintaining a site, contact Tony. I am sure he would appreciate your help.
