From The East:
Dear Brethren:

Congratulations to Brothers, Jose L. Calderone, Eitan Lolai, Walter T. Porr and Paul Youngfleisch on being passed to the degree of Fellowcraft. After one month since their initiation, they were found to be extremely proficient in their examination, and I applaud them on their accomplishment. Also a big thank you to the degree team for another outstanding ritual job. Brother Sanford Gottesman gave a fine Middle Chamber Lecture, and Brothers Carl Lentoni and Steven Lovasz are continuing to perform excellent Q & A's. The Lodge has done 100% of its own ritual work this year and that is certainly something to be proud of.

This meeting will be our "move up" night for our officers, and there will be a short Masonic lecture to be given by our presiding Master, Brother Anthony Pecorella. Masons of all degrees are invited to attend.

Our Mason of the Year dinner was a huge success, and I thank all the Brothers of Harry S Truman Lodge who came out to support our Mason of the Year, Brother Steven A. Siegel. I am very proud of Brother Steven's accomplishments and the help he has been to the Lodge over the years. Please visit our web site at www.hst1066.com to see pictures of the Mason of the year dinner.

Ladies Night: April 21, 2007 will be our Ladies Night. Time is running out so make your reservation today. We will soon have to lock in a number with the caterer. You can purchase your tickets from the Senior Warden or make your reservations with me or the Secretary. Please see attached flier for details.

Special note: There will not be a pre-meeting dinner. I wish all the Brothers of the Lodge and their families a Joyous Passover and Happy Easter. May God continue to protect you and your families and grant you health and happiness. May He also protect the men and women of our armed services and return them home soon.
I look forward to seeing you at the meeting.

With warm regards,

Brother Michael F. Estrada

Secretary's Message:

As we enter the Holiday season, I wish all the Brothers of the Lodge and their families a Joyous Passover and Happy Easter.

We just paid our per capita to Grand Lodge which is our Lodge's single biggest expense. We have also paid the District its per capita under the new rate that was recently approved. If you have not paid your dues, now would be a good time as the Treasurer must start working on the budget for next year in the next few weeks.
