Dear Brethren:
Our last meeting was our annual Foundation meeting and as reported, the Foundation has dispersed $9,500.00 to charities around our communities including $1,500.00 to the Grand Masters Brotherhood fund. I would like to thank all the Patrons, Donors and Contributors who gave so generously and made this years fund drive so successful.
Ladies' Night: Our Ladies' Night was hugely successful and well attended by many Brothers with their ladies. The food was, as advertised, delicious. I could tell you how much everyone enjoyed the event but the proof has always been in the pudding. Pictures of the evening's festivities will soon be available on our website, www.HST1066.com.
New Master Masons: This meeting is set aside to complete the Master Mason Degrees that were conferred this past year. All Master Masons that were raised during the 2006/2007 year must attend this meeting to receive the complete degree. There will be a historical lecture and question and answers delivered at this meeting. Brothers under the rank of Master Mason are invited to attend. Fellowcraft and Entered Apprentices will be tutored for proficiency while the Master Mason Lecture is being conferred.
Elections and Installations: Our next meeting will be to elect and install the new line officers for the ensuing year. I encourage Masons of all ranks to attend and support our new Master and his line.
Special note: There will be a pre-meeting dinner. Hot food, soft drinks and other potent potables will be served. A donation of $10.00 is required. Dinner will start at 6:00pm on the 19th floor. Please make your reservation so I can order the food properly.
May God continue to protect you and your families and grant you health and happiness. May He also protect the men and women of our armed services and return them home soon. I have prayed that after 5 years, the Master would not have to include the preceding sentence.
