From The East: Dear Brethren: Our Table Lodge was a huge success. I don't remember any Festive Board that wasn't successful, but being that this event was for Masons only, it was well attended and 11 toasts has to be a testament to the conviviality enjoyed by all our Brothers. Our event was graced by 54 Brothers including our District Deputy Grand Master, R∴W∴ H Steven Lieb, our Grand Director of Ceremonies, R∴W∴ Larry N. Barnard and our Deputy Grand Master, R∴W∴ Ed Gilbert. I would like to thank all the past Masters who attended, V∴W∴ Michael Siegel, W∴ Ken Arango, W∴ Abe Fichtenbaum and W∴ Joe Ruiz. And of course, thanks to our past District Deputy's and Grand Reps., R∴W∴ Mel Schwartz, R∴W∴ Joseph Mandel R∴W∴ Martin Dashevsky and R∴W∴ Michael Hyman. |

My thanks seem a little top heavy but the evening's work was done by our Wardens, Steward and Marshall. thanks to Bros. Tony Pecorella, Matt Donovan, Sanford Gottesman and especially Jorge Perez for keeping the cannons charged. Special thanks to Brother Rabbi Melvin May for giving the invocation. A Table Lodge traditionally helps raise money for charity and I'd like to thank everyone who gave so generously to the Master's Hat and bought 'firing glasses. We raised over $400 for the relief of a distressed worthy Master Mason. |

We also closed out the fund drive for our Foundation and although the final tally is not available, the Foundation has raised over $7000 this year. Congratulations Brothers and my deepest thanks for your contributions. I am including a few photos from our Table Lodge but you can view the rest at our website in a few weeks at www.HST1066.com May the spirit of Christmas be upon you and refresh your soul. May peace on earth and good will toward all men be in your heart and on your lips. Let the New Year bring us back to Lodge with a new sense of dedication to the work of our craft. |

May the Great Architect protect the men and woman of our armed services and return them home soon. May He also bless and keep healthy you and your family. With warm regards, |
